The Collector was a semi-montly periodical described as "A Current Record of Art, Bibliography, Antiquarianism, Etc." It was edited and published by Alfred Trumble.

Publication History

The Collector began in 1889 and was published until 1897, shortly before the editor's death. It was followed by the journal The Collector and Art Critic, which published from 1899 to 1907.
