The Edinburgh Medical and Surgical Journal was a nineteenth century British medical journal.

Publication History

The Edinburgh Medical and Surgical Journal began in 1805, succeeding an earlier journal called the Annals of Medicine. In 1855 it merged with the Monthly Journal of Medicine (which had just changed its name from the Monthly Journal of Medical Science) to form the Edinburgh Medical Journal.
