Essays and Studies is an annual volume published by the English Association.

Publication History

Essays and Studies began in 1910 as Essays and Studies by Members of the English Association. Publication was suspended between 1914 and 1920, and sometimes skipped years early on. The first series ended in 1946. After a brief series in the late 1940s titled English Studies, Essays and Studies resumed with a second series in 1950 that continues today.
