Executive Orders and Proclamations Issued by the Governor-General was a summary of executive orders and proclamations of the American-appointed chief executive for the Philippines in the early 20th century.
The US first appointed governor generals in 1898, after the conclusion of the Spanish-American War. The first civilian governor-general, future president William Howard Taft, began his term in 1901. The office would continue until the establishment of the Commonwealth of the Philippines in 1935. The title of the governor-general's executive orders serial varied somewhat over the years.
