Eye Opener was a publication by and for inmates at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
Eye Opener appears to have been first published in the mid-1930s. It appears to have gone on hiatus around 1939, with Tidings picking up where it left off, but a new Eye Opener series began around 1950. Eye Opener lasted at least until the 1970s, but does not appear to be published today.
