Farbige Raumkunst was a series of volumes showing examples of interior design, published in Germany in the early 20th century by Julius Hoffmann as part of the Bauformen-Bibliothek series.

Publication History

Farbige Raumkunst was published in 7 volumes, the first appearing in 1911, and the last in 1942. Some volumes were later reprinted or translated into English.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1911-1927: HathiTrust has volumes 1-4 (Bauformen Bibliothek volumes 4, 9, 16, and 22). Access may be restricted outside the United States. Some later volumes may be searchable but not readable online here.
• 1911: The Internet Archive has volume 1 (Bauformen Bibliothek volume 4).
• 1914: The Internet Archive has volume 2 (Bauformen Bibliothek volume 9).
• 1923: The Internet Archive has volume 3 (Bauformen Bibliothek volume 16).
• 1927: The Internet Archive has volume 4 (Bauformen Bibliothek volume 22).
• 1929: Google Books has the English edition of volume 5, titled "Modern Interiors in Colour". Access may be restricted outside the United States. We have not to date found a freely readable copy of the German-language edition, published the same year.
