Die Freundin was a lesbian magazine published in Berlin in the early 20th century. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
Die Freundin began in 1924 as an insert in Blätter für Menschenrechte. The third issue was published on its own. Some later issues were published on their own (some with another insert titled Der Transvestit), and some were published as inserts to other periodicals. The magazine ceased publication in 1933 after the Nazis banned it and similar publications. (The present-day German women's magazine called Freundin has no relation to this publication.)
