Giornale degli Economisti was the original title of a long-running Italian economics journal.

Publication History

Giornale degli Economisti began in 1875, but its first run ended in 1878. The journal resumed with volume 1 in 1886. A new "second" series began in 1890. In 1910, the journal was renamed Giornale degli Economisti e Rivista di Statistica and began a third series, continuing the volume numbering of the second series.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1875-1878: HathiTrust has volumes 1-8.
• 1886-1909: HathiTrust has the 5 volumes of the 1886 series, and volumes 1-10, 13-16, 18-19, 21-23, 26, and 28-38 of the 1890 "second" series. The volumes may be out of order. Gaps in this set are filled in below.
• 1895: HathiTrust has volume 11 of the second series (6th year).
• 1896: HathiTrust has volume 12 of the second series (7th year).
• 1898: HathiTrust has volumes 16 and 17 of the second series (11th year).
• 1900: HathiTrust has volume 20 of the second series. Access may be restricted outside the United States.
• 1902: HathiTrust has volume 24 of the second series (13th year). Access may be restricted outside the United States.
• 1903: HathiTrust has volume 27 of the second series (14th year).
• 1909: HathiTrust has volume 39 of the second series (20th year).
