Publication History

Harper's Bazaar began in 1867 as Harper's Bazar, a spelling it would use into the 1920s. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is February 1929 (v. 63 no. 2), © January 28, 1929. The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from February 1929. (More details) It is still published today. A UK edition began in 1929 (and was known as Harper's and Queen from 1970 to 2006); editions for various other countries are also now published.
