Publication History

House Beautiful began in 1896 as The House Beautiful. It absorbed Home and Field in 1934, and for a time thereafter published as House Beautiful Combined With Home and Field, and also used the Home and Field volume numbering. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is January 1936 (v. 78 no. 1). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from June 1952. (More details) It is still published today.
