Publication History

Index-Catalogue of the Library of the Surgeon-General's Office was published in five series. The first series (16 volumes) began in 1880, the second (21 volumes) in 1896, the third (10 volumes) in 1918, the fourth (11 volumes) in 1955, and the last (3 volumes) in 1959. The last volume was published in 1961. 61 volumes were published in all.
