The Irish Jurist

The Irish Jurist is an Irish law journal (and sometimes a legal reporter) that has published under various names since 1848.

Publication History

The first series of The Irish Jurist (using that name) ran from 1848 to 1867. In the second series, running from 1867 to 1901, the journal was strictly a law reporter publishing under the name New Irish Jurist Reports. In the third series, running from 1901 to at least 1905, the journal was called New Irish Jurist and Local Government Review (though "New" was dropped from the title around 1905). After an apparent publication hiatus, a fourth series began in 1935 as Irish Jurist with Reports. The fifth series, returning to the journal's original name, began in 1966, and continues today.
