Journal of the Appalachian Studies Association was a scholarly journal published by the Appalachian Studies Association, based largely on work presented at its annual Appalachian Studies Conference. Each volume also had its own distinct title.

Publication History

The first Journal of the Appalachian Studies Association volume was published in 1989. The seventh and last volume was published in 1995. Journal of the Appalachian Studies Association was succeeded by the Journal of Appalachian Studies, which continues to publish today.
