Publication History

The Journal of Comparative Psychology began in 1921. The first copyright-renewed issue is October 1940 (v. 30 no. 2). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) The journal was renamed the Journal of Comparative and Physiological Psychology in 1947. That journal ended in 1982, giving rise to the modern incarnation of The Journal of Comparative Psychology as well as the journal Behavioral Neuroscience.
