Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology is the current name of a long-running journal on crime, now published by students at Northwestern University.. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology began in 1910 as the Journal of the American Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology. It became the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology in 1931, changed its name to the Journal of Criminal Law, Criminology, and Police Science in 1951, and changed its name back to the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology in 1973. The volume numbering was maintained through these name changes. The first copyright-renewed issue is November-December 1936 (v. 27 no. 4). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It is still published today.
