The Journal of the Historical and Archaeological Association of Ireland

The Journal of the Historical and Archaeological Association of Ireland was a scholarly journal of an Irish archaeology and antiquities society.

Publication History

The Journal of the Historical and Archaeological Association of Ireland began in 1868, succeeding the Journal of the Kilkenny and South-East of Ireland Archaeological Society. It ran two years, until it was replaced by the Journal of the Royal Historical and Archaeological Association of Ireland (which started over again with volume 1, number 1). The present-day successor to the journal is the Journal of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland.
