Publication History

Journal of the Royal Statistical Society traces its origins back to the Proceedings of the Statistical Society of London, which began in 1834. That journal was succeeded by the Journal of the Statistical Society of London in 1838, which became Journal of the Royal Statistical Society in 1887. (Volume 50 was the first volume published under that title.) No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) In 1948 it split into multiple series. Three of its series continue today.
