Publication History

Journal of the Royal Statistical Society traces its origins back to the Proceedings of the Statistical Society of London, which began in 1834. That journal was succeeded by the Journal of the Statistical Society of London in 1838, which became Journal of the Royal Statistical Society in 1887. (Volume 50 was the first volume published under that title.) No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) In 1948 it split into multiple series. Three of its series continue today.

• 1887-1927: HathiTrust has volumes 50-90 of the Journal, along with all the volumes of its predecessors. Access to volumes afer 1898 may be restricted outside the United States. Some later volumes here may be searchable but not readable online.
• 1928: The Internet Archive has volume 91.
