The Journal of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland is the current the name of an Irish archaeology and antiquities society journal.

Publication History

The Journal of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland began publishing under that title in 1890, succeeding the Journal of the Royal Historical and Archaeological Association of Ireland, and beginning the fifth series of the Society's publications. A sixth series began in 1911. Many volumes of this publication are also numbered in a 'consecutive' series that includes predecessor journals, and which is numbered 20 higher than the fifth series, and 40 higher than the sixth. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
