Publication History

The Kansas Herald of Freedom began in 1854. Its first issue was datelined Wakarusa, but published in Pennsylvania. The second and later issues were published in Lawrence. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. The Kansas Herald of Freedom ceased publication in 1860, and was succeeded by The Kansas State Journal in 1861.
