Publication History

Life and Work began as a parish magazine in 1879. Early issues could be published in parish-specific editions, which might have a parish-specific title and add parish-specific content. Gaelic supplements were also published. A second series of Life and Work began in 1930. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) In 2025, the Church of Scotland announced it would end print publication. The website for Life and Work continues to exist, though the serial's future was uncertain as of June 2025.
