The Literary Digest

The Literary Digest was an American general interest magazine published by Funk and Wagnalls.

Publication History

The Literary Digest began in 1890. It merged with Review of Reviews in 1937, but folded and was absorbed into Time magazine in 1938. No issue copyright renewals exist for this serial, and the first contribution written for this magazine with an active copyright renewal was published in 1934. However, the magazine also regularly reprinted material from other periodicals, some of which may have been copyrighted and renewed separately.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

This is a record of a major serial archive. This page is maintained for The Online Books Page. (See our criteria for listing serial archives.) This page has no affiliation with the serial or its publisher.
