Publication History

Modern Electrics and Mechanics began in 1914 as the merger of Modern Electrics and Electrician and Mechanic, and continued the issue numbering of the latter title. It published six issues from January to June 1914, before being renamed Popular Electricity and Modern Mechanics. After a couple of other retitlings and mergers, the magazine evolved into Popular Science.
