Publication History
The Month was founded in 1864 by Frances Margaret Taylor (also known as Mother Magdalen Taylor). It became a Jesuit publication the following year. It absorbed The Catholic Review in 1874, and published for some time afterwards as The Month and Catholic Review, reverting to The Month in 1882. A second series began in 1949. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The Month ceased publication in 2001.
