Moody Monthly

Moody Monthly was the longest-running name of an American religious magazine published by the Moody Bible Institute.

Publication History

The first issue of the 'Moody Bible Institute' Monthly was published in 1920. It picked up where The Christian Workers magazine (listed separately) left off, continuing its volume and issue numbering. The words 'Bible Institute' were printed in smaller letters than the words 'Moody' and 'Monthly' in the magazine's main title graphic, and were dropped entirely from the title in 1938. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from October 1946. (More details) The magazine shortened its title to just "Moody" in 1990, and ceased publication in 2003.
