The New Englander was a journal published in New Haven, CT, during the 19th century. It seems to have been published quarterly.

Publication History

The New Englander began publication in 1843. In 1885, it became the New Englander and Yale Review, which ceased publication with the March 1892 issue. In May 1892, The Yale Review picked up where the former magazine left off (but started again at volume 1, number 1).
