The Palimpsest

The Palimpsest was a historical magazine published by the State Historical Society of Iowa in much of the 20th century.

Publication History

The Palimpsest began in 1920. The first copyright-renewed issue is February 1948 (v. 29 no. 2). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It was published under that title until 1995, when it was renamed Iowa Heritage Illustrated.
