Publication History

Parents began publishing under this title in 1929; its full title at the time was The Parents' Magazine. It succeeded Children: The Magazine for Parents, which had begun in 1926, and continued its issue numbering. At times the full title has been "Parents Magazine and Better Homemaking" or "Parents' Magazine and Family Home Guide", but it is more recently known simply as Parents. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is June 1939 (v. 14 no. 6). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from December 1933. (More details) The print magazine ceased in 2022, and the publication now continues as a website.
