Parks and Recreation is an American parks publication, originally published by the American Association of Park Superintendents, and now by the National Recreation and Park Association.

Publication History

Parks and Recreation began in 1917, succeeding the Bulletin of the American Association of Park Superindentents. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first series ran until 1965. In 1966, Parks and Recreation merged with Recreation, American Recreational Journal, and Planning and Civic Comment, and began a new series under the Parks and Recreation name that continues to publish today.
