Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia is a series of volumes containing biographical accounts of settlers of the Wiregrass region in southern Georgia.

Publication History

Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia was begun by Folks Huxford, who published the first volume in 1951, and the six subsequent volumes. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) After Huxford's death in 1981, further volumes were compiled and published by the Huxford Genealogical Society. 12 volumes have been published in all, and the Society has also published biographies of residents of the Wiregrass region in the neighboring states of Alabama and Florida.
