The Progressive Farmer
The Progressive Farmer is a long-running American farming periodical, published in multiple editions for much of its run. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
Publication History
The Progressive Farmer began in 1886. At times it added the titles of periodicals it absorbed, so editions were published as "The Progressive Farmer and The Cotton Plant" in 1904 and 1905, "The Progressive Farm and Southern Farm Gazette" in the 1910s, "The Progressive Farmer and Farm Woman" from 1923 to 1930, and "The Progressive Farmer and Southern Ruralist" from 1930 to 1941. It was also published in various regional editions over time. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from May 1938. (More details) It is still published today.
