Publication History

Proceedings of the Royal Society of London began publication in 1832. At some point it split into two parts, one for physical sciences, and one for biological sciences. These two parts are still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1832-1939: Gallica has page images for most of the first 170 volumes in PDF form. The interface is partly in French, and ergonomically leaves much to be desired, but if you have a relatively current Web browser, with a PDF plugin, and scripting on, it should be browseable.
