Publication History

The Quarterly Journal of Economics began publishing in 1886. The first copyright-renewed issue is November 1934 (v. 49 no. 1). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1886-1928: JSTOR has volumes 1-42, and the first issue of volume 43 freely available online. Access to later volumes may require JSTOR subscription or payment.
• 1886-1928: HathiTrust has volumes 1-42 readable online. Some later volumes are searchable but not readable.
