Quarterly Journal of Speech began in 1915 as the Quarterly Journal of Public Speaking. It was renamed The Quarterly Journal of Speech Education in 1918, and took on its present name in 1928. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from December 1948 (v. 34 no. 4). (More details) It is still published today.
