Scandinavian Studies and Notes was the name of an American journal on Nordic and culture from the Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study. It is now published as "Scandinavian Studies"
Scandinavian Studies and Notes began publishing under this name in 1917, succeeding Publications of the Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study and continuing its volume numbering, hence starting with volume 4. In 1941, the journal was renamed Scandinavian Studies, and is still published under that name today.
