Publication History

Sea Stories began in 1922. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is January 5, 1924 (v. 7 no. 5). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from January 1925 (v. 9 no. 5). (More details) It ran until 1930, when it changed its name to Excitement and started publishing a wider variety of adventure fiction.
