The Smart Set published its first issue in March 1900. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from March 1928. (More details) It absorbed The New McClure's magazine in the late 1920s. Its last issue (which, like a few before it, was published under the title "The New Smart Set") was dated July 1930.
