Publication History

The Social Democrat began publishing under that title in 1897, succeding The Railway Times and continuing its issue numbering. The first issue, dated July 1, was datelined Terre Haute, Indiana; the rest are datelined Chicago. The Social Democrat appears to have ceased publication in 1898.
