Publication History

Spicy Western Stories began in 1936. Some early issues were published in two versions, one more featuring more racy content than the other. (The tamer version showed a star in a box near the top of the cover.) No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Spicy Western Stories ran under that title until the end of 1942, and was succeeded by Speed Western Stories.
