Supreme Court Reporter

Supreme Court Reporter is an edited compilation of US Supreme Court opinions, published by West Publishing, now part of Thomson Reuters. It is published in multiple editions, initially in individual issues or online files, and later in "permanent edition" bound volumes.

Publication History

Supreme Court Reporter began in 1882. It is still published today. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is January 1, 1930 (v. 50 no. 5). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) The judicial rulings and opinions are in the public domain, but West claims copyright over the notes it adds.
