Urbana Courier was the short title of a newspaper published in Urbana, Illinois.

Publication History

Urbana Courier began in 1897 as the Urbana Daily Courier. It was renamed Urbana Courier in 1905. Later that year it merged with the Champaign County Herald to form the Urbana Courier-Herald. The title reverted to Urbana Daily Courier in 1914 and to Urbana Courier in 1934. It was known as the Evening Courier from 1934 to 1946. After further name changes, publication ceased in 1979.
