Vermont Legislative Directory is an official publication about the legislature of the state of Vermont. The title has varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

Vermont Legislative Directory appears to have begun in the 19th century as a summary of rules of the Legislatie chanbers, with "Legislative Directory" appearing in the title around 1867.. "State Manual" appears to have been added to the title around 1951. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) I have not found a current publication with this title.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1886-1905, 1912-1921, 1924-1925, 1927: HathiTrust has selected Legislative Directory issues from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
• 1908-1925, 1927: HathiTrust also has selected 20th century Legislative Directory issues up to 1927 freely readable online.
• 1951-1961: HathiTrust has selected 1950s and early 1960s issues of the Vermont Legislative Directory and State Manual freely readable online. Some other issues are searchable but not readable here.

Official Site / Current Material

• The Vermont General Assembly website now serves some of the same functions that the Legislative Directory once did, including supplying current information on the legislature and its members.
