Publication History
Weird Tales began in 1923. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is April 1928 (v. 11 no. 4). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from June 1929 (v. 13 no. 6). (More details) The original incarnation of the magazine ran until 1954. Various other publishers have revived the title since the 1970s. The last incarnation appears to have ceased publication in 2014.
