Western Story Magazine was an American magazine of western fiction published for most of its run by Street and Smith.
Western Story Magazine began in 1919, succeeding New Buffalo Bill Weekly. The first copyright-renewed issue is January 5, 1924 (v. 40 no. 2). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from January 5, 1924 (v. 40 no. 2). (More details) For much of the 1930s and 1940s it was published as Street and Smith's Western Story Magazine. It initially ceased publication in 1949, but was then revived in 1952, expiring again in 1954.
