The Western Sentinel was a weekly newspaper published in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The Western Sentinel began in 1856. It changed its name to the Weekly Sentinel in 1886, but reverted to The Western Sentinel the following year. The Western Sentinel ceased publication in 1926, but a daily edition called the Twin City Sentinel continued until 1974.
