Giovanni Gaetano Bottari (15 January 1689 – 5 June 1775) was an Italian scholar and theologian. He was advisor to Cardinal Neri Maria Corsini, Vatican librarian and counsellor to Pope Clement XII. His special interests were the literature of Tuscany during the 14th and 15th centuries, medieval and contemporary art, sacred archaeology and ecclesiastical history. (From Wikipedia)
