Emily Gerard (7 May 1849 – 11 January 1905), later Emily Laszowska, was a 19th-century Scottish author best known for the influence her collections of Transylvanian folklore had on Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula. (From Wikipedia) More about E. Gerard:
