Giles of Lessines OP (c. 1230 – c. 1304) was a thirteenth-century Dominican scholastic philosopher, a pupil of Thomas Aquinas. He was also strongly influenced by Albertus Magnus. He was an early defender of Thomism. (From Wikipedia)
