Alexander Gordon (c. 1692 – 1755) was a Scottish antiquary and singer. His survey of Roman sites, the Itinerarium Septentrionale, was considered an essential reference by all Roman antiquaries of his time. (From Wikipedia) More about Alexander Gordon:
