Walter S. Haines

(Haines, Walter S. (Walter Stanley), 1850-1923)

Portrait of Walter Stanley Haines (1850-1923), professor of chemistry, materia medica, and toxicology at Rush Medical College in Chicago. It is likely but not confirmed that the portrait published in this 1923 journal article is the portrait of Haines that was painted by Arvid Nyholm and presented in 1916 to Rush Medical College.
