Granville O. Haller

(Haller, Granville O. (Granville Owen), 1819-1897)

Granville O. Haller, noted Indian fighter and U.S. Army military officer, later a wealthy businessman in the Seattle, Washington, area. During the American Civil War, he was charged with the defense of south-central Pennsylvania during the early days of Gettysburg Campaign prior to the arrival of the Army of the Potomac.
